Ramadan Reset with Ruba Ali
Ruba designed this program to help you stay active and maintain your fitness during Ramadan. Ramadan isn’t the time for big fitness goals and personal bests, so Ruba recommends listening to your body and doing as much or as little as feels right for you.

I’m Ruba Ali, creator of the Thrive program. I have been a certified personal trainer since I was 17 and stepped into entrepreneurship at 19 by opening my studio, building my online profile and connecting with a global community. In 2023 I took a step back from the fitness industry to reflect and reconnect with myself before embarking on the next stage of my journey with Sweat in 2024. I’m so excited to help women around the world discover what it means to Thrive with my programs and renewed philosophy to nourish the mind, body and soul.

Program Overview
There are three weekly workouts - Full Body, Lower Body and Low Impact Bodyweight HIIT - structured with a warmup, three circuits based around low-impact compound movements and functional exercises, and an optional finisher. Ruba also recommends you include gentle walks and rest days in your weekly mix.
Each workout will take you 20-30 minutes to complete and these structured sessions are focused on strength, fitness and functional training.
Ruba has created this program to meet you where you’re at over Ramadan, and she encourages you to listen to your body and work out at a frequency and intensity that feels manageable to you. Each week you’ll find two days that are dedicated to rest and recovery with gentle walks as an option to support your wellbeing during this holy month.
